  • Internet, network, and usage information (e.g., internet protocol address, device type, and other statistics and information about your interactions with the Platform)
  • Employment information (e.g., information provided in connection with employment opportunities)
  • Location data (e.g., the geographic position of your mobile device) (location data may be collected even when our mobile application is closed)
  • Organization and event information (e.g., organization name, tax ID number, nonprofit status)

Whether we collect certain categories of information and how we process them depends on how you use and access the Platform. We obtain the above categories of information from the following sources:

  • From you when you provide us the information
  • From your activities on our Platform

We may use location data to enable location specific personalization and to send mobile application notifications or messages. Mobile application location data usage can be managed here for Android devices and here for iPhones.

We may use a service provider to advertise to you on other websites. Service providers may use cookies to advertise to you based on your past visits to the Platform. Your information may also be converted into anonymous information (i.e., information that cannot be directly attributed to you) that may be disclosed for advertising purposes. How we disclose information about you

We may disclose your information as described at the time it is collected or as follows:

  • We may disclose information if you have given us consent to do so.

Online payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (Heartland), so please refer to the processor’s terms and privacy policy for more information about how your payment information is processed.

We may offer social sharing features that let you share our content with other media. Your use of these features enables the sharing of certain information depending on the settings you establish with the third party that provides the social sharing feature. Information retention and security

We store information for as long as we reasonably need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. For example, if you create an account, we will store your information for as long as needed to maintain your account, provide the products or services requested, enforce any applicable terms that govern your use of the Platform, and maintain appropriate records to reflect our delivery of products or services to you. We also may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as permitted by law.

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use and other unlawful forms of processing. That being said, digital transmission and storage of information is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the safety of your information.

Children

We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or store personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. In the event we learn that we collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information unless it was collected with the appropriate consent or as otherwise permitted under applicable laws. If parents or guardians believe that we have unintentionally collected their children’s personal information, they may request the deletion of the information by contacting us at guestservices@ccscoffee.com.

Do Not Track

Your browser may allow you to set a Do Not Track (“DNT”) signal indicating that you do not wish your online activity to be tracked. We do not respond to and cannot act on received DNT signal headers.

Opt-out of communications

If you no longer wish to subscribe to our news, alerts, or any similar information sent by us, you can opt-out of receiving such communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each communication or by sending us your opt-out request using the “Contact us” section below. If you opt-out, you may still receive communications related to your interactions with us, non-promotional communications, or others as required by law. We may also need to keep information we collected about you to record your decision to opt-out.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will let you know by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you use our Platform or otherwise interact with us. By continuing to use our Platform after Privacy Policy changes go into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

Text Message Terms & Conditions

What are your mobile terms?

When you provide us with your mobile phone number, you agree that CC's Coffee House may send you text messages, including Short Message Service (“SMS”) and Multimedia Messaging Service (“MMS”), to that phone number. CC's Coffee House may send you up to 4 messages per month. You will receive a confirmation text message, and you may need to reply as instructed to complete registration. Message and data rates apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. You agree to receive a final text message confirming your opt-out. You may opt-out at any time by texting the word STOP to 833-536-1133. For help, send a text message with the keyword HELP to shortcode 833-536-1133. Texts may be sent through an automatic telephone dialing system. You agree to notify us of any changes to your mobile number and update your account with us to reflect this change. Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain mobile features and certain mobile features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.

How do I sign up for these text messages?

All you have to do is text ”CCs” to 833-536-1133. (Up to 4 messages per month, message and data rates may apply, and you can always text HELP for help & STOP to cancel.) When you opt-in to the service, we will send you an SMS message to confirm your signup.

If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text HELP to 833-536-1133. After you send the SMS message HELP to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.

How do I opt-out of these text messages?

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to 833-536-1133. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Will I be charged for the text messages I receive?

Standard message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 4 messages per month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider. Age Requirements

Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to sign up for CC’s text messages. In the event we learn that we collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Refund Policy

We always strive to serve our products according to strict standards of quality and accuracy. If for some reason we have provided you with an incorrect order, please contact us by telephone or by coming into the store as soon as you notice the discrepancy so we can address the issue.

We offer replacements when appropriate and when that is not a suitable solution for a particular situation, we provide both full and partial refunds. Please note, when paying by credit card, refunds may take up to 5-7 business days to process to your account.

We also appreciate feedback if you are otherwise unsatisfied with your order. We strive to always take care of our customers and resolve any issues as best as we possibly can.

Security Policy

We use Secure Sockets Layer software to secure commerce transactions. This software encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. Your credit card information may be stored on file to let you order more easily in the future. Your credit card information will be stored in accordance with Payment Card Industry standards.
